OD Greens LLC believes that healthy, civically engaged communities are a powerful force in the fights for fresh, healthy food and against hunger. Because of this, we have designed our products to strengthen the ties between people. Local agriculture offers not only a chance to grow local economies, but it also strengthens the bonds between people within communities. We believe that knowing the person who grows your food and where your food comes from should be an important part of the American lifestyle.
The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is designed to support local, year- round small businesses and to provide nutritious, delicious greens and herbs to the Lake and Geauga county Community with 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year shares. We believe that even small programs can combat big problems in the world and we are very excited to invite you to embark on this adventure. And remember, that by purchasing produce from OD Greens YOU are helping to support training for disabled military veterans!
Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the community's farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.
This program is an experimental venture for OD Greens LLC, and OD Greens LLC crops are susceptible to certain inherent risks (natural disaster, pests, unexpected crop failure, etc.). OD Greens cannot guarantee exact quantities, or selections, and by joining the OD Greens CSA you will be accepting the consequences that those risks involve.
